Don BoscoThe creation of a logo for an international project is always a challenge, especially from the point of view of students attending a professional training course in the graphic field During the month of February 2020, 12 students from all over Italy, students of CNOS-FAP VET centers participated in the competition organized by the CNOS-FAP Piedmont Region Association for the creation of the logo for the STEP-UP Project: Supporting Tutor's Educational and Professional Upgrade. The logos presented were evaluated by a technical commission which verified consistency with the indications given, the completeness of the prepared dossier as well as the aesthetics of the logo itself. Aurora Arca, a third year student at the San Zeno Center (Verona), participated in the competition and her logo was selected as the one that will represent the project in any form of communication. He explains in a short communication what are the ideas that led to the definition of the logo: "I thought about dividing the logo into two parts: STEP and UP: The first, Step, is deliberately written in small print as difficulties will surely be encountered along the way which, step by step, will be overcome. Up, becomes an arrow and indicates the educational growth that each person can acquire by participating in your project. The yellow and blue colors recall those of the European flag; the activity is in factregulated at the Italian level but with a comparison at the European level
"I never thought that my work could be chosen for such an important thing. It is exciting to know that one of my creations can be seen by many other people and also this makes me understand that what I am studying really represents my path. "No project could happen without people and no training could exist without students, we always try to have their point of view.
"In each of these guys, even the most unfortunate, there is a point accessible to good. The task of an educator is to find that sensitive string and make it vibrate. "
